Torsion Spring Counterbalance Assemblies

MODEL 641 The single spring unit is designed for light assemblies where overall load is small. The Model 641 can easily be lowered into the loading position and will automatically remain down when moved below the horizontal. It can be raised easily where it will return to the out-of-service position on its own. The model 641, as with all OILCO spring balances, can be mounted as either a right or left hand unit.

MODEL 640 The double unit is designed for more rigorous use and can operate in a wider range of load carrying needs. As on all OILCO models, the outer springs are covered by a protective can, preventing any possible injury. Tension can be regulated easily to adjust speed and return.

MODEL 645 This two over two design is a heavy duty assembly offering the maximum counterbalance capability in the industry. The outer torsion springs can be adjusted in combination to properly regulate the unit. The out-of-service position may still be altered, and the speed governed by a unique snubber spring design.
